WARRANTY CONDITIONS
1. The rights granted by law to the consumer are provided under G.O. 21/1992, Law 449/2003 consolidated, E.G.O. 34/2014, Directive 2011/83/EU, all with subsequent amendments and additions. These rights are not affected by the warranty offered.
2. In order to benefit from the warranty, the consumer is obligated not to allow any intervention on the product by persons other than those authorized to provide service. Otherwise, the seller is released from its warranty obligations.
3. Presentation of the warranty certificate accompanied by the sales receipt or fiscal invoice is mandatory when filing a complaint regarding product defects.
4. Free service is provided during the warranty period and at cost during the post-warranty period. The maximum service turnaround time for warranty claims is 15 days.
5. The duration of the legal conformity warranty period is extended in accordance with Law 449/2003, art. 22, para. 3, by the time elapsed from the date the consumer delivered the product to the service unit until the date the consumer takes possession of the product, or the date of written notification, e-mail or SMS that the product is ready for collection from the service center.
6. For products purchased online:
For products that require software reinstallation to restore conformity, the customer agrees to the deletion of all data stored in their memory (photos, audio files and/or images, contacts).
A display showing 1 (one) to 4 (four) dead pixels is not considered a defect, in accordance with international quality standard ISO 13406-2 class III.
The operating time/duration of the product depends on the configuration of certain parameters/functions and on usage patterns. Parameter values that reduce operating time include:
- Screen brightness mode and timeout settings, volume settings during playback;
- Duration of mobile data connection/usage;
- Duration of Wi-Fi connection/usage (especially media streaming);
- Network signal strength in the area where the product is located.
The warranty period runs from the date the product enters the buyer's possession and is:
- 24 months for the product (mobile phone / tablet / watch etc.) for individuals
- 12 months for the product (mobile phone / tablet / watch etc.) for legal entities
In the case of legal entities (which do not have consumer status), the warranty period is 12 months for durable goods and between 0–12 months for other products. The maximum conformity restoration period for products is 30 days.
The average service life of a product is 30 months (subject to proper transport, handling, storage and operating conditions). SC iHunt Technology Import Export S.A. provides, at cost, out-of-warranty service throughout the entire average service life of the product.
The buyer is guaranteed that in the event of a defect occurring during the warranty period under normal conditions of use, the product will be restored to working order by repair or replacement in accordance with the law, free of charge. To send a product to the service center, you may contact the unit from which you purchased the product or follow the instructions below:
Required documentation: Invoice (copy) and Warranty Certificate (original, completed on the reverse side with customer details, return address, and description of the defect).
Transport costs shall be borne by the customer for products that are out of warranty or have defects caused by the user, even if the product is still within the warranty period. In this case, any courier service with home delivery may be used.

Beneficiary Obligations and Situations Not Covered by Warranty
· The beneficiary is required to present warranty documents (undamaged / unmodified and legible);
· The beneficiary is required to preserve the integrity of seals applied by the seller/manufacturer and by the service technician;
· The device shows damage caused by mechanical accidents, impacts, shocks, liquid ingress, exposure to fire, misuse or negligence, alterations to the device's condition, improper storage – repeated operation under large temperature fluctuations causing internal condensation, excessive exposure to moisture or solar radiation, damage to the antenna or protective covers, negligent or unreasonable use;
· The product has been used with accessories other than those recommended by the manufacturer (a battery other than the one recommended by the manufacturer, a charger other than the original one, which may supply voltages different from the nominal value, etc.); The device must be powered only from a grounded electrical mains supply.
· Software interventions or repairs carried out by unauthorized persons or third-party service units;
· The phone is presented for service with a software version other than the one with which it was delivered.
