Consumables and accessories for pet hygiene — automatic litter boxes, filters, mats, and absorbent materials
Scope of Application
These terms apply to all products in the pet hygiene category sold by iHunt Technology Import-Export S.A., including automatic cat litter boxes, automated grooming stations, and food and water dispensers.
Components Excluded from Warranty — Consumables
The following components are classified as consumables and are not covered by the commercial warranty, regardless of the period of use:
These components have a limited lifespan determined by frequency of use and the number of pets in the household. Periodic replacement is required for the correct and hygienic operation of the main unit.
Recommended Replacement Intervals
Failure to replace consumables at the recommended intervals may cause premature wear of the mechanical or electronic components of the product, which may affect warranty rights for the main unit.
Conditions for Maintaining the Warranty
The commercial warranty for the main unit (motor, sensors, electronics, housing) remains valid provided all of the following conditions are met:
- Use of compatible consumables recommended exclusively by the manufacturer
- Periodic replacement of consumables in accordance with the instructions in the user manual
- Regular cleaning of washable components according to the provided instructions
- Not using the product in unsuitable environmental conditions (excessive humidity, extreme temperatures, direct sunlight)
Using non-approved consumables or failing to replace them on time may cause rotor/motor blockage or tray corrosion. Such defects will not be covered by the warranty and will be repaired exclusively at the customer's expense.
Warranty Claim Procedure
For any warranty service request, the customer must provide:
- Proof of purchase — fiscal invoice or sales receipt
- Description of the defect identified
- Upon request by the authorised service centre: evidence of periodic maintenance (consumable replacements carried out)
Defects caused by negligence regarding consumables will be repaired at the customer's expense, in accordance with the service rates in effect at the time of the request.
